Project Description
Sherman Oaks Oasis
Tucked into a hillside outside of Los Angeles, this mid-century home is barely visible from the street. The rear yard of the house was designed to provide some openness and sense of space within the small property while maintaining privacy and shade. Under an olive tree at the rear of the property a shady seating area is defined with crushed stone. A gently curving and stepped pathway from the house exaggerates the distance and makes the property feel bigger.
