Project Description

Walker Street Penthouse

This 3,500 square foot apartment occupies the penthouse of a newly constructed building in the Tribeca neighborhood of Manhattan. In order to keep the living space very open and uncluttered, all the needs for the kitchen pantry, a/v equipment, and home office were built into custom cabinetry on one side of the kitchen. Special tambour-style doors roll up to expose the office work area when needed. A stone bench borders one side of the living area, and the back of this contains a flat panel TV that can be raised when needed. Overhead, wood fins diffuse light and help define the living room area.
